This is an P-51D Mustang cockpit instrument panel replica of the unique American fighter in full scale exactly according to the original documents. CNC milled out of thick aviation grade aluminum alloy 2024 T3 ALCLAD 0.08” (2mm). The two centre panels are risen over the panel to get the exact feeling as in the cockpit. Ready to be fitted with a collection of instruments. Beautifully painted using Komaxit technology. The North American P-51 Mustang was the decisive US-Fighter for the allied air offensive in Europe. We are a company that repairs aircraft structures of new and classic aircraft. We have the opportunity to manufacture parts for the P-51 Mustang and thanks to that we have documents in hand. This reproduction instrument panel is one of the pieces that were needed to restore.
For templates served the original instruments which were at that time in use of the USAAF (United States Army Air Forces). This is finally the opportunity to bring a part of this legendary machine in your hangar or home. This unique reproduction is a real visual treat not only for aircraft lovers.
